2017 Sorento: What’s New

August 15th, 2016 by

The 2016 Kia Sorento represented a complete model redesign. By comparison, the 2017 models offer only modest improvements. The most significant change is the addition of autonomous emergency braking (AEB) which has been added to all trim levels except the base L model. AEB safety technology monitors traffic conditions and automatically brakes the car in an emergency situation if the driver fails to respond.

Aside from AEB, 2017 model year changes are essential found in trim level enhancements. Price increases range $300-$2400 depending on the trim level. Given that, buyers may want to consider a 2016 model which are being discounted as much as $5000 off MSRP.
