2018 Kia Rio Delivers Subcompact Style

October 17th, 2017 by

The all-new 2018 Kia Rio sedan and 5-door hatchback deliver subcompact style that is decidedly European; as well as, fuel efficiency, innovative technology, and safety features. The 4th generation Rio will offer fun-to-drive character to value-conscious consumers when the cars arrive at Kia retailers in the fourth quarter of this year.

For an entry-level car, the Rio offers a generous roster of features including Bluetooth, a six-speaker stereo with satellite radio and a rear-view camera system; and a seven-inch floating touchscreen interface, UVO3 voice recognition infotainment system and smartphone integration through Android AutoTM and Apple CarPlayTM, all of which are not typically found in the subcompact segment.

The front seats have also been redesigned to enhance comfort.  They feature a slimmer design yet add more cushion and padding to reduce driver fatigue during long commutes and road trips.

The 2018 Rio will be available in three trims LX, S. and EX and both automatic and manual transmission. Fuel economy is an improved 28 city/37 highway.
