Automotive Press Raves About Kia Models

We are prone to raving about our cars; but when the automotive press raves about Kia, it really makes our day. In the first quarter of 2016, Kia achieved record sales with the Forte, Sportage and Sedona posting double digit gains. Here are some of our favorite automotive reviews. Kia, The Power to Surprise.

2017 Kia Sportage

“The redesigned Sportage performed pretty much flawlessly in my testing, and that is not something I say lightly. Though its improvements are incremental across the board, they touch almost every part of the vehicle. It’s roomier, slightly more fuel efficient, has a well-balanced ride and (with one exception) now offers the latest safety technology. Our previous nits have been addressed as well; the steering has better programming/feel and visibility has improved. It sits as the class leader in my mind.” – Read full article

“The 2017 Kia Sportage serves as a reminder that good things can come from humble beginnings. One of the longest-running nameplates in the Korean automaker’s portfolio, the Sportage has transitioned from outsider status amongst compact crossover buyers more enamored of vehicles like the Toyota RAV4 and the Honda CR-V to a legitimate threat to these established players in areas such as power, comfort, and reliability.” – Autobytel Read full article

“Those top-end prices buy a lot of car and a lot of content, the kind of features that you’d have to pay extra for even in a luxury vehicle like an Audi Q5. Among the Sportage SX Turbo’s standard goods are 8-inch touchscreen with navigation, leather interior, power-operated and heated/ventilated front seats, hands-free power tailgate, premium Harman/Kardon audio system, panoramic sunroof and all those innovative safety features. No doubt most Sportage buyers will prefer a more economical trim, but if you splurge on the SX, know that you’re getting a powerful compact SUV that’s loaded with the latest amenities, technology and safety equipment.” – Kelley Blue Book Read full article

2016 Kia Optima

“Kia’s 2016 Optima EX optimizes value and amenities. Case in point, it offers such niceties as adaptive cruise control, automatic braking, blind spot monitoring/cross traffic alerts, speed/curfew alerts, heated/cooled leather seating, panoramic sunroof and 360-degree camera to make parking easier and safer. These features are customarily only found on more expensive sedans.” – Examiner Read full article

2016 Kia Sorento

“Larger, more elegant and much more sophisticated, the all-new 2016 Kia Sorento is a good-looking minivan alternative that offers a lot of bang for your buck and comes with one of the best warranties in the industry.” – Examiner Read full article

2016 Kia Sedona

2015 Kia Sedona

2015 Kia Sedona

“The KIA Sedona is not your average mini-van ~ not even close!…This is a vehicle that I’d be proud to drive around town and happy to be seen driving.
This is by far a vehicle with the most room and comfort all in one. Even the Power-Sliding Anti-Pinch Doors are built for convenience. With four different devices to operate the doors, including the key fob, control is simple and easily in reach at all times. Great dual sunroofs, window shades, luxury seats, ample cargo room, the generous console space and heated outdoor mirrors are all features that make the design of the 2016 KIA Sedona a winner!” – Read full article

2016 Kia Cadenza

“The 2016 Kia Cadenza is more sedan than you’d expect at less than you’d expect to pay. Roomy, comfortable, attractive, with a competent and smooth powertrain, luxurious interior and impressively lengthy complement of features, the Cadenza defines the notion of a lot of automotive bang for your hard-earned bucks.” – Kelley Blue Book Read full article
