Inside the 2023 EV6
A New Generation of EVs
First introduced in March of 2021, the EV6 is the first all-electric vehicle from Kia. A crossover SUV, the EV6 makes your head turn when you see it on the street with its sleek body styling and captivating design. There are 5 trim lines that rival the likes of Tesla. The GT-Line was named the World Performance Car of the year in 2023. This is impressive with the model having only been around for 2 years. The EV6 has been receiving awards since it came out including 2023 North American Utility Vehicle of the Year, Car and Driver Editors’ Choice and US News Best Car for Families, just to name a few. Did we mention, this is the most affordable EV on the market that can be compared to high-end electric cars?
Interior & Exterior
The exterior of the EV6 comes in nine possible paint colors, with two striking colors being Runway Red and Yacht Blue. When it comes to the Seat Trims, you have the possibility to choose from 6 variations depending on your vehicle trim.
Stepping into this electric car you’re immediately met with the buttery soft seats and lots of space for driver and passengers alike. You have the ability to transform the interior with ambient lighting that will fit your style and make it feel custom. The cargo volume is extremely spacious, with 24.4 cubic feet with the back seats up and up to 50.2 cubic feet with those back seats down. This allows for ease of luggage, tools, home supplies, and passenger comfort behind the front seats.
Technology
All new 2023 EV6s can charge from 10% to 80% with DC Fast Chargers in only 18 minutes. The estimated range for the EV6 is 310 miles (based on the GT-Line with RWD). The 2023 EV6 GT is also going to have up to 576 horsepower, depending on the trim level. Here’s a cool video of the EV6 in a drag race with the McLaren 570S and the Porsche 911 Targa 4.
As you’d expect with a high-tech vehicle, there are 12.3-inch Dual Panoramic Displays for:
- Navigation
- Diagnostic
- Convenience
- Entertainment
- Safety
