Kia Captures Top Spot in J.D. Power IQS Study
For the fourth consecutive year, Kia has captured the top spot among all non-luxury automotive brands in J.D. Power’s 2018 Initial Quality Study (IQS). Kia also maintained its leadership position Sorento (Midsize SUV) and Rio (Small Car) winning their segments and Sportage, Sedona, Optima and Forte placing in the top three of their segments.
“Ranking number one among all mass market brands for four consecutive years leaves no doubt as to the world-class quality and craftsmanship instilled in every car and SUV that Kia builds,” said Michael Cole, chief operating officer and EVP, Kia Motors America. “
J.D. Power is the trusted name in car ratings and awards. The annual J.D. Power U.S. Initial Quality StudySM (IQS) measures car quality by analyzing problems reported by owners in the first 90 days of ownership.
This award is especially meaningful to us as it is based on the experiences of our customers.
This is a great time to buy an award-winning 2018 Kia as we have them marked down to year-end model clearance prices.
