Kia EV9 Sneak Peek

Last week Kia Corporation released teaser clips offering a sneak peek of the highly anticipated Kia EV9.  The Kia EV9 is a dedicated battery electric SUV and is slated to accelerate Kia’s transformation towards sustainability. This week Kia released the EV9 unveiling video and 20 interior and exterior photos.

The EV9 fuses a progressive, bold design with authentic SUV character. The name, EV9, comes from Kia’s EV nomenclature, pairing the prefix ‘EV’ (electric vehicle) with the number ‘9’, which represents the model’s segment among Kia’s dedicated electric vehicle lineup. It will be the first three-row electric SUVWe expect the EV9 to be larger than the Telluride and available in the U.S. by the third quarter but have no definitive information. Like the Kia EV6, the Kia EV9 is built upon the company’s dedicated battery electric vehicle platform, the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP).
