The new Kia Rio was introduced at the Paris Motor Show in September.  Being touted as a supermini and state-of-the art subcompact, the 4th generation Rio delivers class leading safety technology. Safety is important in any vehicle, but especially a small car and it was the focus of the Rio’s redesign. An optional Autonomous Emergency Braking system includes Pedestrian Recognition.

The first model redesign since 2012, the new Rio European inspired and is longer, wider and shorter. The interior has been upgraded and the Red Package offers faux red or black leather. New colors include red and black and Digital Yellow has been discontinued.

It offers a Gasoline Direct Engine for improved fuel economy (27/36 MPG) and entertainment amenities like Apple Car Play and Android Auto.

Our first Rio sedans arrived this week and the hatchback is expected to arrive in showrooms in 1Q 2017. With a starting MSRP of only $14,165, the Rio is a must consider option for those looking for an economically priced new car or a small, fuel-efficient ride.
