January 3rd, 2017 by

Kia Buzz, the official blog of Kia Motors recently published a 2016 highlights reel to celebrate a “year filled with expansion, milestones and new potential.” We thought be fun to start off the year comparing Kia’s  favorite moments to Kia Country’s.

Product Launches

Kia is focused on the future with goals to put fully automated cars to the road by 2030 and to plans to become a leader in the hybrid and green car market. At the same time, it continues to reinvent and improve its core lineup with both Cadenza and Rio introducing redesigned models.

Kia Corporate: Kia Niro, Kia Drive Wise, Kia Cadenza and Kia Rio

Kia Country: All-new 2017 Kia Sportage; the availability of Apple Car Play and Android Auto on several models and the continual evolution of safety features.

Kia Corporate: Peter Schreyer marked 10 years as Kia’s Chief Design Officer and Rafael Nadal celebrated 10 years as a Kia Brand Ambassador.

Kia Country: Mitch Jones, our Service and Parts Director celebrated 10 years with us in June.

Events and Achievements

Kia Corporate: Landing 66th on Interbrand’s Best Global Brands, and the Niro breaking a Guinness World Record.

Kia Country: Being recognized as KDEP Certified for the third time and DealerRater.com’s South Carolina Dealer of the Year for the fourth consecutive year.

Kia’s continual evolution and continuous quality improvement live up to its brand slogan, The Power to Surprise. As a dealership, we are proud to represent such an innovative brand.

Happy 2017, where we expect the evolution to continue. Looking forward, all eyes are on the delivery of the all new HRV, Kia Niro which is expected to arrive in our showroom this month. We trust it will be the first of many great Kia moments this year.
