This is what is included in your 60k-mile service and why it is important:

  • Drive Belt Replacement— the drive belt is an essential component that keeps your engine and accessories working properly. By 60K miles or 5 years, the belt rubber can slowly weaken, crack, or dry rot due to the heat in the engine compartment. If the belt on your vehicle breaks, you will find yourself stranded as your car will not run.
  • Cooling System Service— Over time, coolant becomes acidic and allows rust and corrosion to build up in the radiator. Build-up may also clog the system and result in a blown head gasket or another major repair. the complete fluid exchange which pulls coolant not only from the radiator but from the engine block and heating system where it can also accumulate.
  • Rotate & Balance Tires—we recommend that you rotate your tires every other oil change or every 10,000 miles. We check your tire pressure and tread on each visit, but we do not check tire balance as part of our 21-point courtesy inspection. Rotating your tires will prevent premature wear and help to maintain proper alignment. Potholes and other negative road conditions can disrupt the balance of your tires. Balancing equalizes weight and eliminates uneven points in your tires to deliver a smoother ride increases tire longevity and protects your rims.
  • Complete Fuel System Service—we recommend a fuel system service every 30K miles. The fuel injector, valves, and pistons on your vehicle likely have carbon build-up. This can cause a rough idle or slow start. The fuel system service removes carbon deposits and maximizes fuel economy.
  • Oil & Filter Change—Kia recommends a synthetic oil change every 5000 miles or 6 months. Charleston conditions are considered severe due to excessive heat and humidity.
  • Replace Engine Air Filter & Cabin Air Filter—in line with our standard recommendations
  • Top-off Fluids—standard with every service at Kia Country
  • 21 Point Courtesy Inspection—standard with every service at Kia Country

Adhering to our recommended maintenance schedule will keep your vehicle running smoothly and help to keep your warranty intact. We are currently offering major mileage service coupons.
