Your Kia or Hyundai air conditioning system relies on both temperature and pressure. A preventative temperature and pressure check is a good way to guard against an unexpected system failure and make sure both are meeting specifications. Both of these work in tandem to make sure your air conditioning is cooling at optimal efficiency.
The temperature at which your air conditioning is cooling is impacted by the outside temperature and humidity. Our technicians take a temperature reading and make calculations to see if your system is cooling within an acceptable range.
The system has both high and low-pressure readings that also need to meet specifications. If they are not within manufacturer specifications, you may have a system leak or you may need Freon.
If your car is more than three years old, we recommend that you have your air conditioning system checked annually.
