2022 Kia Model Updates

Kia updates some of its most popular models for 2022. Although these are considered carryover models, you will find new trim levels, technology, and option packages.

2022 Kia Telluride

The Telluride maintains its bold style. It adds the new Kia badging and a slightly redesigned radiator grille. Inside, Kia’s award-winning SUV adds a larger 10.25-inch navigation display, fully automatic temperature control and highway driving assist to the LX and S trims. Navigation Based Smart Cruise Control-Curve has been added to all trims.

2022 Kia Sportage

The Sportage is unchanged for 2022 but maintains its cutting-edge design, capability, and convenience. New this year, the LX Value Edition Package adds an 18-in. dark gray wheel, a Smart key with push-button start, and heated front seats. The Nightfall Edition also replaces the S trim as a standalone package, and the panoramic sunroof is now standard on the EX trim. The EX Tech Package and SX Turbo are equipped with new complimentary map updates including new points of interest and ADAS features support.

2022 Kia Soul

The 2022 Kia Soul is largely a carryover with minor visual enhancements, including the new Kia badge on the hood, liftgate, and wheel center caps.

Updates to the S, X-Line, and GT-Line include a standard 10.25-inch display screen with navigation, dual automatic climate control, push-button start with engine immobilizer, wireless smartphone charger, and dual USB chargers.

The LX with manual transmission has been discontinued. The new LX Technology Package adds 16-inch alloy wheels and bundles several advanced driver-assistance systems, including Blind Spot Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Change Assist, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Driver Attention Warning.  Additionally, for the LX, the standard screen on the head has been increased to 8”.

Steel Gray replaces Sparkling Silver on LX, S and EX trim levels.

2022 Kia Seltos

The 2022 Kia Seltos SUV adds more standard safety technology and a new Turbo Nightfall Edition.

  • Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keeping Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Warning, Lane Following Assis,t and High Beam Assist are now standard across the Seltos lineup.
  • The 10.25-inch display, UVO link connectivity, remote start added to a key fob, and auto climate control are standard on all but the LX trim.
  • New Nightfall Edition AWD trim includes exclusive 18-inch matte black alloy wheels, unique black grill, rugged stand-up roof rails, and rugged side sills.
  • SX AWD features a flat-bottom steering wheel. A plum interior also is available.
 2022 Kia K5

The K5 gains the new Kia badging and also convenience features such as Surround View Monitor, additional wireless chargers, and standard navigation on the GT-Line, EX, and GT trims. Entering its second year, K5 offers a new GT-Line AWD Premium package with a panoramic sunroof, heated steering wheel, LED projection headlights, and additional driver assistance features including Highway Driving Assist and Navigation Based Smart Cruise Control-Curve, designed to unleash the spirit of the everyday driver.
