First Ever Kia Seltos Hybrid

The biggest headline for 2027 is the introduction of the first-ever Seltos Hybrid.

The hybrid pairs a turbocharged 1.6-liter engine with an electric motor to provide significantly improved fuel efficiency while maintaining responsive everyday performance. Although official EPA ratings have not yet been released, early expectations point to class-leading fuel economy that could approach 50 mpg under certain driving conditions.

The addition of the hybrid broadens the Seltos lineup, giving buyers a fuel-efficient option without requiring the transition to a fully electric vehicle. Front-wheel drive is expected to be standard, with available all-wheel drive on select trims.
