Major Mileage Service: 30K Miles

Kia Country recommends the first major mileage service at 30K miles. Why Is It Important? Routine car maintenance is essential to keep your vehicle running smoothly.  If you have kept up with our recommended maintenance schedule such as oil changes, you will see that those services are incorporated into the 30K mile service and will keep your schedule intact.

This is what is included in your 30-mile service and why it is important.

• Oil & Filter Change—Kia recommends a synthetic oil change every 5000 miles or 6 months. Charleston conditions are considered severe due to excessive heat and humidity.
• Rotate & Balance Tires—we recommend that you rotate your tires every other oil change or every 10,000 miles. We check your tire pressure and tread on each visit, but we do not check tire balance as part of our 21-point courtesy inspection. Rotating your tires will prevent premature wear and help to maintain proper alignment. Potholes and other negative road conditions can disrupt the balance of your tires. Balancing equalizes weight and eliminates uneven points in your tires to deliver a smoother ride increases tire longevity and protects your rims.
• Complete Fuel System Service—by 30,000 miles the fuel injector, valves, and pistons on your vehicle likely have carbon build-up. This can cause a rough idle or slow start. The fuel system service removes carbon deposits and maximizes fuel economy.
• Replace Engine Air Filter & Cabin Air Filter—in line with our standard recommendations
• Top-off Fluids—standard with every service at Kia Country
• 21 Point Courtesy Inspection—standard with every service at Kia Country
